TECHNOLOGY PLATFORMS
The expertise of individual RTG labs in state-of-the-art techniques as well as in disease mouse models further promotes and expands collaborations between the individual projects. Examples are:
- the generation of transgenic and knock-out mouse models via the CRISP/Cas9 technology
- CRISPR/Cas9-mediated gene modifications of primary immune cell populations
- metabolic analyses, e.g., by the Seahorse technology
- advanced microscopy such as multiphoton- and lattice light sheet microscopy
- bioinformatics analysis of RNA-seq, scRNA-seq (10x platform), and antibody repertoire data
- a transgenic human antibody mouse to produce human antibodies and perform human antibody repertoire studies in mice
- various mouse models for autoimmune (e.g., EAE, SLE), chronic inflammatory (arthritis, gut, and liver inflammation), tumor, and infectious diseases (mycobacteria, CMV, LCMV, helminths)
