INTERNATIONAL PARTNERS

  • Two to three-month lab rotations of our doctoral candidates at an institution outside of Germany will be an essential part of our research-oriented training program and the promotion of international networking. For example, external 2.5 month-long lab rotations are obligatory for our fast-track candidates during their qualification phase (recruitment starts 2022)
  • Furthermore, we will also support optional external lab visits of Dr. rer. nat. candidates who need to learn a technique or get familiar with a model system that is not well established in Erlangen but is essential to complete their thesis.
  • Several RTG researchers have already set-up such collaborations to elucidate a question addressed in the respective doctoral thesis project.
